On a recent night, a patient was taking his last few breaths. Cindy rushed into the room and held the patient’s hand as he left this earth. This was not Cindy’s patient, however, this act of kindness is not new for Cindy. She treats every patient as though they are hers. She is always available to all patients as well as all staff. She is always stepping in as relief charge whenever we are short, always with a smile on her face.
