Cindy was THE most awesome nurse that I've ever had and trust me I've been in and out of hospitals a lot. I had a bad experience in one of my visits to Banner Thunderbird. I switched to go to Banner Good Samaritan and other than the paramedics hating to drive that far, I was happy with their service. This last time I was in so much pain that I chose to go back to Thunderbird because it really is a whole lot closer to my house.

I will never regret that decision. I believe I was on the 4th floor when I was lucky and got Cindy for my nurse. She is one of the most kind and compassionate people I've ever met in the nursing field. It may sound corny, but she made it seem like she was family in how she cared for me. I had few visitors because most of my family is out of state and my boyfriend has issues with hospitals. She checked in on me often (I never had to ring for service) and when her shift would end she would stop by to make sure I didn't need anything (food, snacks, etc.). So with Cindy there, it did actually feel like family.

She always had a smile on her face which told me she enjoyed her work and taking care of people. She is definitely one that if you could clone her you would have the best hospital worldwide.

I will end this letter with letting you know that Banner Thunderbird will be my hospital of choice from here on out. I hope her great people skills rub off on to others that may be getting worn down from working in the healthcare field.
