Approximately two weeks ago, we had an extremely busy night on the 10 Bed Unit. We had three admissions and two code greens happening at the same time around 2130. Two nurses assisted each other with one code green while I was in charge of the second code green. One of the nurses was supposed to be VTO’ed at 2300, and instead of leaving at the time, she stayed until almost 0200, helping me chart and completing all of the DASAs for that night. If it wasn't for this nurse, there is no way I could have made it through the night and even leave the next morning on time. The teamwork that was displayed was above and beyond. I am more than grateful that I had Cindy Vandivier with me that night.
