The following day Claiborne brought in her own hair supplies to de-mat her patient’s hair who had been in the hospital for more than 60 days.
Claiborne noticed that her patient had been experiencing some depression during her stay. Due to this, Claiborne took time to sit with the patient; coloring, doing puzzles, and giving her a sense of companionship.
On their second day together, Claiborne noticed her patient’s hair was matted. Claiborne spent more than an hour doing her hair. At the end of the day, she went home and did not feel satisfied. The following day Claiborne brought in her own hair supplies to de-mat her patient’s hair who had been in the hospital for more than 60 days.
The patient ended up going to surgery early, which left Claiborne unable to complete her hair. She patiently waited for the patient to return so she could provide the patient with her promised spa day.
Claiborne’s STAR service for all her patients is admirable!
