I came into the hospital for mental health issues. I was placed on a 5150 hold that ended up as 15-day long stay. I was very anxious throughout the stay. Claire’s bedside manner was top-tier. She made a point of making sure I was well taken care of. She stood out to me because she took the time and treated me as a real person.

When she had availability, she would take over for my “sitter” and made sure I was good. I can’t say how much I appreciated that. She also advocated for me to be able to walk the unit. They really made her work at it, but she was persistent. And I appreciate her a ton for that. The medical staff would not let me leave the room. Claire is probably the best RN your hospital has. She deserves all the praise. I had a lot of nurses and RNs, and she is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. I can’t thank her enough. She is the best. 

P.S. She also made it a point to take over sitter duty when she had a small amount of “free” time. I can’t say how much I appreciated it.
