Clara Slater, BSN, RN

From the moment we met Clara Slater, she immediately made my family feel at ease after the birth of our son. She is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and cares about her patients. Clara answered all of our questions and helped our son successfully latch when he was initially having difficulty. 

Perhaps the most telling story of her character and dedication to her career is how she interacted with our 4-year-old daughter. Our daughter was thrilled to meet her baby brother and even came to the hospital with her plastic stethoscope. Clara was so excited to meet her and taught her how to listen to her brother's heartbeat and count his breaths. My daughter was beaming after this interaction, and it meant more to my husband and myself than words can express. We were grateful for the care she gave us and are glad she is recognized for the amazing nurse and person she is!
