Clare Snelgrove Transplant Nurse Specialist was presented a DAISY Award in recognition of exceptional care to a transplant patient. The nomination was made by a colleague from a partner organization who praised Clare for the exceptional care and expertise she provided in successfully coordinating a complex transplant situation. Clare put the patient first at all times and went above and beyond to overcome barriers, displaying empathy and true kindness, and through her actions a patient had a successful transplant and an improved quality of life.
