Clarence Wieser III, RN

CJ is an exceptional leader for the Emergency Department at Ascension Alexian Brothers. He was recently recognized by a staff RN for going above and beyond for a patient's family member during a time of need. When CJ was in charge, a patient required admission to the hospital. She worried about her husband who suffered from dementia as he was not able to stay due to visitation restrictions. CJ coordinated, through many calls, his admission to an extended care facility to ensure his safety while his wife was hospitalized. He did all this while still supporting his team as the charge nurse on the night shift. He is a well-respected leader and we are lucky to have him on the team.
