Clarinda is an exemplary model for the qualities of an exceptional healthcare professional. Aside from scientific knowledge and caring and patient care duties, Clarinda displayed genuine care and empathy during each and every interaction with me. From taking me on walks around the floor to helping me with my socks, to noticing that I am in need of cold water. Each act was carried out with genuine compassion. It is evident that for Clarinda, her work is more than just a job to her, but is an actual calling. Her bedside manner could be used as a role model for nurses and doctors alike. I highly recommend her for the DAISY award.

PS, as an aside, our family has had numerous experiences with long-term stays in medical facilities due to various health conditions, and Clarina would be amongst the top caretakers!
