Our story began when my 17 year old son, T was involved in an explosion on his job site and suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns. He was air flighted to a facility, with the understanding that we were being transported to a Burn Unit Hospital. Which in fact, it was NOT!!! After two days of no debridement, wound care, or pain control and the doctor wanting to release him on the 2nd day, I was desperate to find somewhere to move T. I searched the internet again after having already looked and Lourdes Burn Unit appeared!!! I called Our Lady of the Lourdes and Clark answered and listened to my plea for help at 3 am in the morning. He said to ask to be discharged and get him to the ER as quickly as possible to be assessed to see if he would even qualify for the burn unit. But I knew God had placed him in our life to save my son's life. As soon as we arrived and T was seen.....all the medical treatment that should have begun on Wednesday immediately began. Along with the many wonderful doctors and nurses we have had throughout this ordeal. Had an answering service taken my call, I wouldn’t have known how to get my son where he needed to be. Clark listened as I cried tears of fear and calmed me down to help me save my son's life with his advice and guidance leading us here for that I will forever be grateful. We still have a long road to recovery but had it not been for Clark leading us to this wonderful facility, T's journey may have had a completely different ending. There are angels among us...we are forever grateful
