Claudette has gone above and beyond providing excellent care to one of our patients. The patient is elderly and recently experienced the loss of his wife that has left him very emotional. He lives alone, as his son, unfortunately, works out of state, and he does not drive.
Claudette has been very patient and compassionate with him, giving detailed information and instructions on procedures, treatment, and medications. She has accompanied him to the pharmacy and has also assisted in scheduling his medications to be delivered to his home. The patient was very nervous about the ability to make it to his appointments due to unreliable transportation services in the past, and Claudette has been the one to assist in communicating and ensuring that he is picked up for his treatment appointments.
