Claudia was my nurse for the birth of my son. She was wonderful! I felt like she actually cared about me and the situation and she wasn't just there doing her job. She was very calm, understanding and encouraging during a fast delivery, which made it less scary and stressful for me than it would have been without her. She worked again the following night and again I felt like she cared about how I was doing and I wasn't just another patient. I also had no idea how busy the staff on that floor was that night until l was being discharged the next morning.
I want Claudia to know how much I appreciate her.
Note: this is Claudia's second DAISY Award, the first was in 2011!
