Claudia Sewell is a very skilled and respected nurse with characteristic grace and good humor. She serves as a role model to the younger staff in clinical judgment, expert skills, endless energy and never failing care for her patients and her capacity and enthusiasm for being a nurse has not diminished in her more than thirty years of nursing. Her attitude and sense of humor puts everyone at ease and makes working with her a joy.

Claudia is always attentive to patients and families. She goes out of her way to assist patients she is not directly responsible for. She remembers patients she cared for many years ago and, more importantly, they remember her for the kind and compassionate care she gave them. Her kindness, care and compassion extends beyond the boundaries of the Medical Center. She routinely uses her earned benefit time to join medical missions to underserved countries, caring for post surgery patients having had surgeries for disfiguring birth or war injuries. On her days off, she serves as a driver for members of her church needing transportation to medical appointments.

She is a caring, smart, patient, flexible and efficient RN. She goes out of her way to assist patients she is not directly responsible for. She remembers patients she cared for many years ago and, more importantly, they remember her for the kind and compassionate care she gave them.

She is a true pillar of strength and an exemplary nurse.
