Clay D Maxson, RN

My daughter is a Purdue student who had to visit the ED after a terrible fall. She had a severely broken leg, and we were unable to make it there to be with her. Clay, and the entire ED team, did a fantastic job of not only providing quality medical care but keeping her calm and comfortable. She is a pre-med student, and the experience she had in the ED was a great example of how to be a compassionate medical provider. Clay was personable, professional, and always kept her updated on what was going on. She enjoyed the fact that he spoke to her with compassion and respect, not like she was just a kid. It’s been over a month since the accident, and she is still talking about how awesome her ED nurse was. Clay recognized that she was an 18-year-old alone in an emergency room experiencing a pretty traumatic event. His care helped make the whole thing just a little more tolerable. Thank you, Clay.
