I am writing to nominate three individuals in the infusion clinic at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center for the Nurse’s Daisy Award - Victoria Origi, Brett Corlett, and Clayce Collums-Moore. This team consistently demonstrates exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism to me and other patients. They create a welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring each visit is as comfortable as possible. I personally undergo monthly treatments that can be quite painful. The staff always go above and beyond to ensure I’m comfortable and to minimize the pain as much as possible. I can tell that if I'm in pain, they are in pain, and that's the epitome of empathy. I actually look forward to my treatment so I get to see them and catch up on their lives. They have brought me much joy in some days of darkness. In conclusion, their dedication to excellence in patient care and their ability to maintain a positive attitude even under challenging circumstances truly embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award.
