On Thursday, I witnessed a perfect example of loving kindness from Clem. As a patient was being wheeled off to the operating room for surgery, the family member waiting with them began to cry. Clem hugged the family member and reassured them that they were going to receive the best care possible and stayed with her until she was consoled and able to go to the waiting area.

This was a very touching moment and exemplary of how we should all treat our patients' families.
