My 60-year-old husband had a quadruple bypass surgery, and we were very anxious about the care he would receive during recovery from such a big surgery. Nurse Cody Allison worked very hard to ensure my husband received the best possible care during his hospital stay. During Cody’s shifts, what stood out most was the time he took to truly listen. He never rushed through my questions—instead, he made sure to find the correct answers and ensured I fully understood. That level of attention and respect meant so much during a stressful time. Anytime I had a request regarding my husband’s care, he didn’t dismiss it or delay—he made sure it was acknowledged and looked into. That consistency built a sense of trust and reassurance for both of us. Each time he entered the room, he clearly explained what he was doing and why. He made sure we were comfortable and answered any related questions I had. His communication made a big difference and helped ease a lot of anxiety during this experience. His patience, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. He made a difficult time more manageable for our family and helped us be more at ease, and I am truly grateful for the care he provided to my husband. He is very deserving of this recognition
