Cody Glazier, BSN, RN
My husband became very ill very quickly. He was flown to INTEGRIS Hospital and received a liver transplant. He was very scared and confused. He did not know where he was, what year it was, or why he was here. He is deathly afraid of being on the ventilator. He was in the ICU post-transplant for three days. Cody was extremely patient with my husband. Consistently reoriented him and reassured him he was not alone. He always responded to every light immediately. He provided my husband with the best care. I have been a NICU nurse for over 25 years and now teach nursing at the university. I know excellent care when I see it. Nurses are not recognized nearly enough and Cody deserves recognition for always going above and beyond his patients and their families. He was also precepting a new nurse and showed the same patience and caring in his precepting which is also very important.
