Cody was recognized by multiple patients, peers, and many leaders in the building. Cody is a caring and compassionate nurse who brings even more to the table with a major focus on patient safety. Cody is involved in every activity and committee that strives to improve patient safety and satisfaction. He has the ability to provide and coach others on safety in crisis situations with our sometimes very aggressive population. Patients feel safe with Cody as they are aware that he will keep them and others around them safe when they know that they cannot control themselves. Cody is always forgiving of their out of control moments and after helping them process their behaviors is able to treat them as if it had not happened.
