Cody says he has worked in Behavioral Health for about seven months. He says his main priority is taking steps to promote a safe environment for patients. He says his favorite part of his job is working with his patients.
"Every day is new and exciting," Cody says. "I get to chat and interact with patients on a personal level, which, to me, is special."
When asked about going the extra mile for patients, Cody says listening openly and addressing all aspects of patient concerns are important.
"Listening openly allows you to connect with your patient," Cody says. "When you are a good listener, patients are reassured that they are being heard, which is an important part of their care."
