When I was admitted from the ER my nurse was Kela (Cokeletta). I as a retired CMCgt of the USAF (24 years) and I had an instant connection. I discovered we were both post-military veterans. She really listened to me and my complaints of pain and she was totally concerned and dedicated to my immediate needs and well-being. She provided excellent nursing care, support, and exhibited the extreme professional nursing discipline. The nursing professionalism and concern she provided was unique and outstanding. While I was having extreme pain in my chest, she and Dr. S gave me dedicated care, concern, and complete compassion. Each would not leave me until I was reassigned to CICU for 2-way by-pass surgery, after multiple tests to pinpoint my heart issue, which turned out to be the "widow maker". I want to thank her for her nursing professionalism, and her past Military Service!
