I have been having all day long IVIG infusions every 12 weeks for several years. My life changed when Colet came to work there. She is so friendly and is genuinely happy to see me. Colet’s face lights up when she sees me, and she always has a kind word. During my infusion day she always explains everything, even though I’m a veteran. I love that. She always checks on me frequently to see if I need anything, that’s a godsend since it’s such an ordeal to get up for water with cords, pillows, blankets, etc., to rearrange. If she’s not super busy, she’ll stop by to chat which is wonderful since it’s a long day without visitors being allowed in. She is the epitome of the perfect compassionate nurse. She doesn’t seem burned out from her years of working, or tired of seeing patients. She’s energetic and is like sunshine in the cancer center. I now look forward to my quarterly visits just to see her and have a few hours of her attention. She’s a loving person! P.S. I am now always assigned to Colet, yay!!!
