I was admitted from the ER. I was in a fair amount of pain and scared that my symptoms were serious. There were a lot of people caring for me, but Colette stood out because she always had a ready smile, calming manner and treated me respectfully. I needed quite a few blood draws and she was careful and compassionate each time, even though my veins weren't always cooperative. It's very comforting to have a nurse that goes out of her way to be helpful to both me and my husband. The day I was to be discharged my husband became ill at home and I didn't know if he'd be able to pick me up. I spoke with Colette about it and she took the time to find names and numbers of taxis in the area. Nurses like Colette enhance the ordeal of a hospital stay, so it doesn't seem nearly as bad. Her caring ways and kindness made all the difference!
