Colleen Burns, BSN

In April, I had a scheduled kidney biopsy. Shortly after arriving, Colleen came out to the waiting room introducing herself as a nurse prepping for me for the procedure. My first impression was she cared about her patients. Once in the room, we talked and she described her clinical expertise and showed compassion for the individual patient. Her personality was both professional and friendly and she had a calming effect that helped me relax. Overall, Colleen sticks out by showing how much she loves her job, what she does, and her patients. She definitely represents Chester County Hospital as a role model for others.
