Colleen Mahoney, BSN, RNC-MNN

Colleen was an amazing nurse and advocate during our time in postpartum recovery. She was always happy and helpful, anticipating our needs and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We spent three days on the recovery floor after three full days in L&D so we were very fatigued of life in the hospital. Colleen provided much-needed stability and a consistent face in the midst of lots of rotating specialists and providers. In addition to her extremely competent care, she checked in with us regularly to ensure we had a good understanding of all the information we were getting from the care team, ran interference with a rapidly changing dietary situation, and taught us numerous useful tips and tricks to keep mom and baby happy. Once we were transferred back to High Risk, she continued to check in with us to make sure things were going well. Among a huge staff of excellent caregivers (of whom it feels like we met almost all of them over our eight-day stay), Colleen was exceptionally wonderful.
