Colleen is so special because every day of the 12 years that she has worked on this floor she has been a blessing to her patients and to the staff. Colleen is the sigh of breath that you take when you see her walk through the doors because you know she has your back. She goes above and beyond any expectations to provide quality care, support, and encouragement not only to her assigned patients but to every patient on the floor as well as her coworkers. As our fearless charge nurse, I have had the honor and the privilege of working alongside her as a patient care tech and most recently as the unit secretary. She has been nothing less than dependable and reliable. Ms. Sabol is the consummate professional. There is not a bell, whistle, beeping pump, or bed alarm that she does not respond to. You can see there is not one story that makes her special or unique because this is who she is every day. She is extraordinary every day!
