I experienced an extraordinary situation that needed emergency care and attention. Collette was my nurse. She was there for me she had followed all the procedures before offering me to use the walker which I thought I did not need because the restroom was so near and I was very mobile. When I went to use the bathroom, it felt like a knot on my stomach had broken and I soon felt all my strength go away. Collette was right by the door waiting for me and I opened the door and asked for help and she pulled the red string. Immediately all the support I needed was all around me. I commend nurses like Collette that are ready to do their job and give the patient the assurance that all is okay and is under control. Her care and commitment for patients are worth mentioning, she is an asset to your organization.

I just want to say praises to Collette as she showed great patience with us. She took time answering all our questions. She called the doctor several times to make sure we received what we needed per our request. She was great with my grandmother (the patient). She went over and beyond her job description and made us feel appreciated.

Collette took the time to teach the students from Azusa Pacific University San Bernardino Campus. Even though some of us were not assigned to her she, she took the time to teach us. I know it is difficult for nurse to take time with us because they are so busy, but Collette demonstrated techniques, explained and quizzed us. We really appreciate you. Thank you Collette! We Love Her, Azusa Pacific University

This is Collette's second DAISY Award. The first was presented to her in June 2009.
