Collette cared for our son in the step-down unit for four days. It is very evident that Collette loves her job because she goes above and beyond for the families of her patients. She is full of so much knowledge, assisting me with breastfeeding, and teaching us how to care for a newborn. We've had two other children, however, a preemie was obviously different than a full-term newborn. She made us feel confident that we were going to be able to care for our newborn. She explained vitals and the equipment to our other kids and even how to hold him. She allowed us to feel like the new family of five while placed in an unexpected situation and not being able to bring our son home right away. Thank you Collette for your kindness!
