Because I have chosen to single out Colton Fouts is not a negative reflection on the quality of care of all the other nurses my husband had in the last three months of his life. He was in the VA for over 6 weeks of those last three months. I was there every day he was there. We had the opportunity of observing the respect and dignity with which your staff treated all their patients. The care was excellent. However, one nurse stands out as exceptional.

Colton Fouts went above and beyond what was expected. He exhibited intelligent, compassionate, personal nursing care for my husband. My husband was a hero and Mr. Fouts treated him like one. Thank you for doing for us what we could not have done for ourselves during his last week of his life.
