Thoughtful and considerate are words that describe Connie’s style of nursing. It is not unlike Connie to go above and beyond in her actions, for example Connie initiated a program for our less fortunate patients by bringing in winter cloths and asking others in the department to bring cloths from home as well. When we need extra help Connie is likely to be the one to rise to the occasion and respond. Connie has stayed late and come in early, as well as slept at the hospital in times of inclement weather. Whether the patient be a geriatric patient or a pediatric patient Connie delivers age appropriate care in a conscientious and skillful manner. The words “I cannot take anymore or do anymore” are not in Connie’s vocabulary.
