My wife fell on the "black" ice. She was so apprehensive about how she would deal with a very serious ankle break requiring pins, plates, etc. Connie was literally an angel--"a Godsend." She has an amazing gift to make you comfortable and important. She truly serves her patients the greatest among us. --J.E.

My husband, K., had a very bad day and a nurse was no help. When Connie came on duty that evening, she took the situation under control. K had been vomiting violently since about noon and was getting worse. Connie was calm and comforting to my husband and me. She got meds under control, and the OR doctor to examine K; IV started, a catheter in, x-rays ordered, and a tube in his nose draining his stomach. By 3:30 AM he was improving. She was a blessing to us. --K. and M. K.
