Connie consistently shows compassion. She has extraordinary clinical skills.
Connie had been caring consistently for a patient in ICU. Two days after that patient was transferred out of ICU to the floor a Code Blue was called on her. Connie was called to come in, but the decision was made to transfer the patient from North to Central. Connie went to the North Mother Baby Unit and cared for that patient while she got intubated and transferred to Central. The patient's family were so thankful to see a familiar face and to know that their family member was in excellent hands and that Connie knew the patient was an added bonus.
Connie went above and beyond to make sure not only the patient, but the family members were taken care of.
