My husband was seen in the emergency department for an allergic reaction to a wasp sting. Connie greeted us and introduced herself and her first concern was for his comfort. It was obvious to me, as a nurse myself, that her concern was genuine. After getting an ice pack for his eye, she continued to check on him. The physician prescribed a medication that my husband is sensitive to, but Connie went above and beyond to make sure he would be OK on the drug. As a critical care nurse, I am always vigilant when my family needs care. Connie was amazing! I applaud her clinical skills and her sense of compassion! She is such an asset to Meritus Medical Center!
