A letter from a patient’s family member: I am writing to compliment one of your employees, Connie Pugh, on being such a warm, caring, responsible and professional person. She was helpful, gave good eye contact when asked a question and appeared as though she genuinely cared for all of her patients, but I just wanted you to know that my family and I were impressed with her. After meeting Ms. Connie last night, I left the hospital feeling confident that my sister would be well cared for. Ms. Connie’s presence alone was comforting and it was evident that nursing is her passion. I’m glad Ms. Connie is my sister’s nurse!!!
Another letter: Connie was the best nurse! She was totally awesome! She would go out of her way to console me when I found out my baby had to stay in the hospital. She did research for me to tell me what each doctor was doing. She is what made my experience the best!
And one more: Connie made sure my daughter was comfortable and attended to all her needs as if she were her own child. She made sure I was informed on how to take care of her at home. I have never met a more committed, professional and caring RN as Connie. No matter how many times we called her to our room, her attitude was always warm, and caring. I will never forget my experience with her as a guide to how patients and family members should be treated. I was amazed at how comfortable she made my 9 year old daughter feel after coming out of surgery. I pray she has long, lasting, fulfilling tenure with Baptist Health Little Rock.
