I started to get scared and panicked and Connie calmed me down. She called the doctor a few times to make sure I had the correct medications I needed to keep me from throwing up and to calm me down. I was afraid to have a breathing treatment because it makes me shake and sometimes nauseated. I felt like I was going to die. Connie explained to me the necessity of treatment, the importance of keeping my airways open and medicines to calm me and keep me from vomiting. Also, Connie spent extra time to calm me and check on me and make sure I had everything I needed before leaving. She helped me with everything and I cannot say enough about her. I have been sick since I was a child with asthma and other sicknesses and I have had a lot of good nurses. Connie was made to be a special nurse.
