Constance "Connie" M Dempster, RN, BSN

Although Connie was running around on a busy morning, she took time out to help transport a patient to the South Campus 3rd Floor because it was going to delay the patient from getting a CT scan for about an hour. She with hesitation asked the transporter if he needed help and he said, “Yes, are you willing to go with me?” Connie replied, “Yes, let’s get it done.” Connie demonstrated all the iCare Values of BJC – Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, and Respect and she did it with a spirit of Excellence. She also implemented Safety and Teamwork parts of BJC’s values because the transporter was unable to safely transport the patient across the campus for the imaging test by himself. She is amazing!
