The last couple of months have been really tough, dealing with the pandemic. The loss of many patients has brought stress, anxiety, fear, and other strong emotions to many of us. On various occasions, Corey has demonstrated to be a great leader by guiding and helping. A couple of nights ago, we had a very unexpected experience where death was involved. Experiencing or witnessing traumatic events impacts everyone differently. Corey helped the group involved by communicating with us and debriefing. I know it does not seem like a lot, but these are the actions that make a difference in our work environment. Corey is indeed one of the most respected nurses in the emergency department for his integrity, compassion, and excellent service.
