Corey, a nurse in MSICU, was nominated by a patient's family member for his compassionate care. After the patient and family decided she didn't want any more heroic measures taken, Corey was a great support to everyone. He helped explain to the family what to expect in the days to come. When the patient passed away, he offered comfort and prayer. The patient's family said they felt much better knowing that Corey was with their loved one in the end.
