I was admitted with a whole lot of problems during pregnancy, including low platelets and high blood pressure. Corey drew the lucky straw of having to administer a very uncommon and complicated drug. She gracefully worked with the team to administer it properly and safely. Despite her best efforts, I did end up having a reaction to the last titration of this medication and Corey responded promptly and calmly to treat me. She again worked with the team, reaching out to the pharmacist, doctor, and charge nurse to make sure I was safe and taken care of. I know she was very busy the entire night and barely got to sit down, but I never once felt that she was rushing my cares. Corey took the time to thoroughly explain everything and to truly connect with my husband and me in this scary time. I feel truly blessed to have Corey as my nurse tonight and could not imagine being in better hands than hers.
