Cori checked on me often and during one of her checks, she noticed something was not right with our son. He had been grunting and she hooked him up to the pulse oximeter, which showed a reading in the 60s and he was nasal flaring. She was calm and quickly called the NICU nurse who came to further assess. Cori saved our son's life. If it wasn't for her caring, persistence, and attentiveness, his outcome might have been different.
