Cornelia consistently volunteers to move her shifts or work additional days to support her teams and colleagues at night. Cornelia exemplifies the caring and compassionate nature of the DAISY Award by consistently supporting her team to get breaks and or assist in the support of teams across units. Cornelia goes above and beyond to assist in the onboarding and training of new staff members be it a new Unit Assistant, Traveler, or an Assistant Nurse Manager. Cornelia lives our KP values and leads with a compassionate can-do attitude by ensuring everyone feels safe and valued, while at the same time maintaining excellence and efficiency.
