Courtney Bowen, MSN, RN, MEDSURG-BC

Courtney and I were walking the tunnel to South tower and she went above and beyond to help a man who was having a hard time walking. He was on O2 and visibly winded. Courtney asked the man and his wife if he was ok and where they were going so that she could support them. Courtney proceeded to offer assistance and get the man a wheelchair so he could make it to the records department. The wife thanked Courtney as she had tears running down her eyes. This small selfless, compassionate, act of kindness really impacted this couple and let them know that they were in our care without being an admitted patient. Courtney deserves recognition for this and for the many other times that she stops to help others in similar situations.
