Courtney Carner, LPN

My son D, 49 years old, came to Daytona Beach hoping to enjoy a week's vacation. Unfortunately, he suffered two small strokes shortly after arriving. After more than 24hrs in the ED he was admitted. From the moment we met Courtney, we knew we were in good hands. Courtney provided excellent care, but also kindness, comfort, encouragement, and hope. We were fortunate enough to have Courtney for all 4 days of D's hospital stay. D progressed very quickly, and Courtney cheered him on all the way. This situation left D feeling very vulnerable and out of control. Courtney treated him with passionate respect and courtesy. She was also mentoring a graduate nurse. Courtney is an exceptional person who gives so much more than great health care. She gives of herself, and we are thankful for her.
