Courtney Collins, RN

Courtney was my first nurse in the CCU and she quickly became my favorite. I had her on both night and day shifts, and no matter what time of day or night, she was cheerful, helpful, fully prepared, had researched my condition, prepped for episodes, advocated to the full extent of her ability, helped think of new ideas and pushed for anything to make me more comfortable. She stayed late on a couple of shifts to make sure I was stable enough before leaving. There were days she requested to switch assignments with another nurse to provide continuity of care for me as I was so complicated. She anticipated my every need and was a breath of fresh air when getting air was so hard. I wish every patient had a Courtney.
