From the beginning to the end of her shift, Courtney made careful observations and showed excellent judgment and quick actions to meet my husband's medical needs. She was prompt to answer his call light and provided privacy without compromising safety, especially when he needed to go to the bathroom. While addressing a family issue, she consistently followed through on it by being an amazing communicator and listener which is rare in our world today. My husband's blood sugar levels were running high and she went above and beyond in the way she handled his insulin needs as she listened to how we managed them at home and conferred with the physician for better management during his hospital stay. His levels went down to what we worked to get at home. As a nurse myself, I would be happy to have Courtney any time to care for my husband and me if we are ever hospitalized again.
