I likely have a daughter who is alive today because of Courtney. We came into the office for pain in the upper thigh of my daughter. She ordered an MRI but had the insight to do blood work. There was an elevation in a certain level, and upon learning this, she was advised to go to MERCY-ER, OKC. They quickly got a CT scan, and my daughter was filled with blood clots. The doctor didn’t even take time to have her change into a gown. An emergency it was, and they removed a large amount of blood clots and discovered she had May Thurner syndrome. Without Courtney and her instinct to do blood work, I truly could have lost my daughter. Courtney truly gave lifesaving care to my daughter.
