Courtney Fizer, RN

Courtney has always been an amazing nurse and student educator. Courtney admitted a patient who brought their therapy dog, Bonnie, with her to the hospital. The patient had no friends or relatives. Courtney took the dog home for the next few nights because we were not equipped to care for Bonnie. The patient had to have emergency surgery and later passed away. Courtney tried to reach someone with no success. Courtney decided to adopt Bonnie and give her a forever home.
