Courtney Garcia, LPN

I have seen Courtney go above and beyond for our patients on many occasions. She once noticed one of our patients on another level of our building having difficulty walking and finding his balance, so she found a wheelchair and brought him up to our clinic for care. She often steps in to help other clinical staff when they need help rooming patients or with other needs. The way she interacts with patients is inspiring, and she handles every interaction with kindness, compassion, and humor. She makes every patient she meets feel at ease. I admire the fact that she is constantly working to better herself and improve by pursuing higher levels of education in nursing.

She is the most approachable nurse in our clinic, and I am never afraid to ask her for help with patient care, referrals, or anything else within my scope of practice. Patients look forward to speaking with her and seeing her, and the rapport that she has created with patients and other staff is inspiring. She creates opportunities for community growth and boosts morale, and she is a big reason I enjoy coming to work every day.
