Courtney went to the hospital “on her day off to cut his hair, because he told her that he hadn’t been able to get a haircut” at his previous care facility due to COVID restrictions. “I can’t remember the last time I experienced this level of humanity in any setting, let alone the extremely overworked and stretched thin healthcare system,” the nomination reads.
