Courtney is one of the most incredibly compassionate nurses I have ever met. I have seen her dedication first hand. She had a patient diagnosed with a serious illness with complicated needs. He lives outside of Tucson and was going to receive treatment outside of the VA. This patient needed several things to aid him in this process, such as PET/CT/MRI scans on discs and medical equipment.
Courtney worked tirelessly to get all his needs met. Amazingly, she was able to accomplish most everything on a Saturday. She made numerous calls to Social Workers, SCO's, Radiology, and an outside source for equipment.
She is always there for her co-workers and any assistance they might need. I have been a Nursing Assistant for 38 years and I have seen the best of the best. She is one of them! Courtney's greatest gift is her compassion, balanced by her admirable humility.
